He’s a comedian, writer and producer for TBS’ Surviving Bear Grylls. As a performer he specializes as an emcee for corporate events. His crowd work skills have earned him warmup jobs for Netflix specials as well as network talk shows.
He’s toured with the USO to entertain The Troops overseas and toured massive arenas like Barclay Center and Staples Center with Katt Williams.
Richie’s comedy has been seen on HBO, AXS TV, Amazon Prime Video, Fox, NBC, Gotham Live, Kevin Hart’s LOL Network, Sirius XM, JFL Montreal, Next VR and Food Network.
He has a degree in political science from the University of Pennsylvania and over 20 years of professional standup comedy experience. As a former All-Ivy League MVP athlete, and two time US Junior National Rowing team member, he has a keen understanding of team psychology and group-minded motivation.
Brennan is a high-energy storyteller with roots in Florida—which might already explain a lot. He has traveled across the country performing stand-up and has had the privilege of working alongside some of the biggest names in comedy.
Behind the laughter is a story of resilience. Growing up with crippling anxiety and depression, Brennan learned that even in the darkest moments, humor can be found. After years of self-medicating with alcohol—and the chaos that followed—he is now sober, transforming his past struggles into sharp, funny, and insightful stand-up.
Brennan pulls from a checkered past filled with misadventures, bringing total strangers along for the ride. From young stage performer to International Baccalaureate student to Division I football player, his story could have led to a polished professional career. Instead, he chose a different path: using comedy to shine light on the struggles and detours that once threatened to derail everything, proving that laughter truly can be found anywhere.
