Now, Chef Burke is currently getting ready to launch a brand new restaurant in New York, his first concept in the city for three years. He and his team have just acquired the lease for the space at 277 Park Avenue, where he plans to establish a “new Midtown East community asset” named Park Ave Kitchen in the newly developed tower from the Stahl Organization.
Expected to arrive in May 2023, Burke will be launching a two-part 6,248 square foot eatery complex on the tower’s Lexington Avenue side. The first part will feature a 148 seat modern brasserie that will highlight some of the chef’s most popular dishes, while the second part will host a 49 seat market/cafe for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, which will be Chef Burke’s first foray into fast-casual dining.
Additionally, Park Ave Kitchen will also be providing catering services to the tower’s lucky tenants. Burke has tapped architectural firm Lemay + Escobar to design the space, which is expected to feature a wall of pink Himalayan salt, chandeliers, and ribbed glass partitions between sections.
