There’s just enough time to squeeze in one last decadent meal in 2021.

Many restaurants are offering special prix-fixe menus on New Year’s Eve. At these relaxing meals, you’ll be leisurely served course after course while you sip champagne and reflect on the past year.

Here are North Jersey restaurants (and a few other venues) hosting special events on New Year’s Eve.

1776 by David Burke, Morristown

Celebrations at 1776 begin at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 31. The restaurant will host live music and entertainment, along with serving a four-course prix-fixe meal. Dishes include halibut with caviar butter, veal chop with crab legs and roasted rack of lamb. The party runs until 10:30 p.m. Price is $150 per person.

If New Year’s Day brunch is more your thing, head to 1776 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. the next day.

Son Cubano, West New York

Son Cubano looks festive for the holidays with Christmas trees, garland and nutcrackers.

Put on your party clothes for a night out at Son Cubano. A four-course meal will be served with dishes such as chuleta a la parilla and lobster and shrimp taquitos. Bottle service will be available and a DJ and live performers will provide entertainment. Packages range in price from $150 to $250 per person. Seatings begin at 4 p.m. Last seating is at 9 p.m.

Ventanas, Fort Lee

Ventanas has a modern aesthetic and is all decked out for the holidays.

Arabian Nights is the theme for Ventanas’ New Year’s Eve party, complete with a DJ and live performances. The four-course meal includes oxtail croquettes, chicharron pork shank and ginger salmon. Price is $195 per person. Bottle service will be available. The party runs from 8:30 p.m. to 1 a.m.
