Park Ave. Kitchen, a modern American restaurant, is expected to open next summer at 277 Park Ave.The 6,200-square-foot space will be located on the corner of East 48th Street and Lexington Avenue in the 277 Park Ave. building.The Stahl Organization, which owns the building, has entered into an agreement with international award-winning chef David Burke. Burke, along with his David Burke Hospitality Management team, will create and operate the restaurant.The modern American restaurant will offer customers two distinct dining experiences: a 99-seat modern American restaurant and a 49-seat grab-and-go market.A big component of this arrangement is Park Ave Kitchen will deliver food throughout the building as well as provide catering services to office tenants in the building.Office workers in the building will be able to order Park Ave. Kitchen’s food through the 277 Park Ave. app and the food will then be delivered to their desk.The Stahl Organization sees the restaurant as an amenity for office tenants in the building.277 Park Ave., a 51-story building situated between E. 48th St. and E. 47th St., was built by Stanley Stahl in the early 1960s.It is near the 51 Street Station, which provides access to the 6 train.
