Award-winning chef and New York restaurateur David Burke will grow his portfolio with two ventures at Le Méridien Charlotte.
The first — SkyBar by David Burke — opens on August 7. That rooftop bar is located at 555 S. McDowell St.
Burke also plans to open RedSalt by David Burke on the first floor of that hotel this summer.
Those concepts replace rooftop bar City Lights and restaurant Evoke.
“Over the years, I have had the opportunity to connect with the Charlotte community through friends and family, and I have been impressed by not only the growth, but the city’s diverse and vibrant culture, culinary and mixology scene,” says Burke.
